search warrants, arrest warrants and related court orders in which
hostile persons and environments may be encountered. Although this
course is not designed specifically for Emergency Teams, the information
presented will be of great benefit to these personnel.
Why Attend?
Officers entering a building pursuant to an arrest or search warrant
are participating is one of law enforcement’s most dangerous
activities. The occupants often posses the tactical advantage,
have immediate access to weapons, and have demonstrated a disregard
for the law by their conduct. It’s become increasingly
common for criminal suspects to fortify their homes and employ
guard dogs, booby traps and other countermeasures to thwart police
action. This course will provide students with the knowledge
and skills to efficiently plan and effectively execute arrest
and search warrants and document their activities.
